ONU Salon in Murfreesboro is looking for the personality and poise that will help lead guest care sales. We are an Aveda Lifestyle salon that is committed to providing the utmost care to our guests. We pride ourselves in superior client experience delivering the highest quality customer service. Customer service is a given in this position, the right candidate will be someone with successful sales skills. You should be available to work between the hours of 9a-9pm Monday through Friday, 7:30am-9pm on Saturday and 11am-6pm on Sunday. This position requires every Saturday and Sunday.
Description
Our salon needs a Guest Care Sales Service Specialist to welcome clients in to the salon and guide them through the ONU Salon service path of care by doing the following:
- Recommend and sell the Aveda Plus Rewards Membership
- Greeting every call and client with a smile
- Guiding clients beginning with client check in and ending with client check out
- Working with the Designers to ensure clients get the best care possible
- Educating guests on products to ensure Home Care sales(Haircare, Skincare, Bodycare and Makeup)
- Day to day cleaning to ensure 100% cleanliness for guests

- Have no trouble striking up a conversation with anyone in the salon, whether they are a stranger or a long-time member
- Listen to every client's needs and discuss solutions to ensure 100% satisfaction
- Treat client criticism as an opportunity to show that ONU Salon will always work to make any unsatisfactory experience right
- ONU Salon prides itself on specialized experience, so attention to client's details and the ability to follow instructions(written and verbal) is essential
Qualifications
- This position is for a person with excellent sales skills and some supervisory experience. This position must be available to work onweekends. We are looking for someone who has flexibility with their schedule and can grow with our business
- 1-2 years of sales experience preferred. "Sales Experience" meaning the candidate has spent time in a sales environment where they committed time learning the product and/or service to effectively educate clients on the benefits of the product and/or service
- Customer service in a spa-like or similar environment is preferred, working to ensure every client has an excellent experience. The candidate understands that a "satisfactory" experience is an inferior experience
- Client and Designer schedules can be fluid, so the ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing environment is necessary
- It's not always a walk in the park so the ability to remain confident and calm under stress is needed
- Industry experience is a plus, but not needed. You will learn a lot about the salon world
Job Type: Part-time
