CNC Machinist/Operator
New Wire Marine is searching for a CNC Machinist/Operator.
New Wire Marine is an inventive, innovative, and developing company located in Charleston, SC. We build and sell aftermarket boat dash and switch panels to individuals, service shops, and OEMs all over the world. We hand design, mill, etch and assemble each item – resulting in custom made-to-order products.
Who We're Looking For:
We are looking for a CNC Machinist/Operator who can work independently with the utmost efficacy and safety – who can confidently deliver on the following:
- Excellent attention to detail with exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic math skills, including algebra and geometry.

Ability to understand and read work orders, drawings and follow detailed instructions.
- Knowledge of reading calipers.

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use basic hand tools.

Capable of creating toolpaths using G-code generating software.
- Understanding of various computer applications, including DropBox.

Experience in the marine and boating industry a plus!
