Charge Nurse -Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities
- Charge Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff throughout the shift
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor resident conditions, update care plans, and perform thorough assessments
- Complete admissions, transfers, discharges, and related documentation
- Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and the care team
- Maintain accurate, timely charting in accordance with regulations and standards
- Respond to emergencies, perform critical interventions, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Participate in ongoing training, in-service education, and quality improvement initiatives
Charge Nurse -Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- New graduates encouraged to apply
