Scott Law Firm is a leading personal injury law firm located in Conroe, TX, dedicated to standing up for people who've been hurt due to the negligence of others. We are committed to helping our clients navigate the complex legal process and obtain the compensation they deserve.
This legal secretary will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for front office operations, including answering phones, routing calls, and greeting visitors.
No prior legal experience is required, but it is preferred that the candidate have office experience.
The applicant must have several years of in-person customer service experience in a service industry. The ideal candidate is currently employed in a non-remote position that involves constant face-to-face interaction with the general public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly with a professional and courteous demeanor
- Route calls accurately to appropriate team members based on the caller's needs
- Greet clients and visitors with a friendly and respectful approach, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued
- Maintain a neat and organized reception area
- Enter client information and case details into our CRM system accurately
- Handle documents and data entry with attention to detail
- Schedule phone calls, appointments, and manage calendars
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, mailing, faxing, and scanning
- Follow firm processes for document naming and organization
- Assist with general office duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Speak, read, and write Spanish fluently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clear, audible delivery
- Empathetic and compassionate when interacting with clients
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, which includes typing at least 45 WPM
- Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to demonstrate confidence when relaying information
