About the Role
Discount Tire Outlet is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Writer to join our team. You'll be the face of the shop -- the key connection between our customers and our technicians -- making sure every visit runs smoothly from drop-off to pickup.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns
- Write up accurate and detailed repair orders
- Communicate repair recommendations and estimates to customers clearly
- Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians
- Follow up with customers on vehicle status and completion times
- Handle phone calls, scheduling, and general front-desk operations
- Process payments and close out repair orders
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset
- Prior automotive or service writer experience is a plus but not required
