Concrete Finishing Machine Operator / General Laborer
Nitterhouse Masonry Products, LLC (Chambersburg, PA)
Nitterhouse Masonry Products, LLC, a local manufacturing facility, has immediate openings for full-time, first shift Concrete Production Laborers in our block finishing department. This position primarily works with our concrete finishing/grinding machine to help ensure quality finished products. No experience is necessary — training will be provided.
Starting rate is $18.50/hr with potential for overtime.
Schedule:

Monday to Thursday

6:00 am to 4:00 pm

Overtime on Fridays as needed
Responsibilities:
-
Operate and monitor concrete finishing/grinding equipment
-
Inspect finished concrete products for and appearance
-
Remove defective products and maintain production flow

Stack and organize finished materials on pallets

Keep work area and machinery clean and safe
-
Assist with basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance
-
Learn to operate additional plant equipment, including forklift

Assist other departments as needed

Requirements:
- No prior experience required; training provided

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail preferred

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and carrying up to and exceeding 50 pounds

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions
