Receiving Clerk

About Us
RDL Global Logistics is a growing logistics and warehousing company dedicated to providing reliable freight handling and customer service. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team.
This position is responsible for accurately receiving inbound freight, verifying shipments, operating a forklift, and ensuring inventory is processed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect inbound freight from LTL, FTL, air freight, ocean freight, and parcel carriers.
- Verify shipments against packing lists, bills of lading, purchase orders, and customer documentation.
- Operate a forklift safely to unload, move, stage, and organize freight.
- Inspect shipments for shortages, overages, or damage and report discrepancies immediately.
- Accurately enter receiving information into the warehouse management system.
- Label, organize, and stage freight for warehouse storage or customer pickup.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient movement of incoming freight.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse receiving experience.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and email.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience handling LTL, FTL, air freight, ocean freight, or freight forwarding shipments.
- Inventory control and cycle counting experience.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- Overtime available as needed
