Prosper Women's Health is a boutique, physician-led OB-GYN practice located in McKinney, Texas, serving the Frisco, Prosper, and McKinney communities.
Under the leadership of Dr. Jolaiya Faturoti, our team is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care throughout every stage of a woman's life, from adolescence through menopause.
We are expanding our collaborative care model and seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Nurse Practitioner to join our practice as an independent contractor beginning August 2026.
This role is ideal for a Nurse Practitioner who values autonomy, close physician collaboration, and building lasting relationships with patients in a modern, supportive private practice setting.
NOTE: We are looking to start from one day a week (Friday) and build out from there.
Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care for low-risk obstetric patients and women seeking preventive and routine gynecologic services, working collaboratively with Dr. Faturoti and the Prosper Women's Health clinical team.
Responsibilities include prenatal and postpartum care, annual wellness visits, contraception management, menopause care, patient education, and coordination of care. Hospital rounding and labor support may be available depending on experience, credentialing, and practice needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage initial and routine prenatal care for low-risk obstetric patients
- Perform annual well-woman examinations and preventive screenings
- Conduct Pap smears and STI screening
- Provide contraceptive counseling and management
- Evaluate and manage common gynecologic concerns
- Provide menopause evaluation and hormone therapy management, as appropriate
- Conduct postpartum follow-up visits
- Provide lactation counseling and family planning education
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
- Perform in-office procedures including IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal
- Educate patients regarding pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and preventive health
- Collaborate with the supervising physician on complex or high-risk cases
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in AthenaHealth EMR
- Participate in quality improvement and continuity of care initiatives
- Hospital privileges and labor support opportunities available based on credentialing and practice needs
Qualifications
- Active Texas Nurse Practitioner license
- Current Texas APRN license with prescriptive authority
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- National certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) preferred, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with women's health experience considered
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum one year of Nurse Practitioner experience in women's health or OB-GYN preferred
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
- Experience with AthenaHealth EMR preferred

Compensation & Contract Details
- Independent Contractor (1099)
