We're hiring a Home Technology Consultant to support a growing Verizon Wireless campaign. As a Home Technology Consultant, you'll meet with customers during scheduled home appointments to introduce Verizon Wireless smartphones, mobile devices, wireless plans, and the latest connectivity solutions.
As a Home Technology Consultant, you'll educate customers on available products and services, answer questions, recommend personalized wireless solutions, and assist with new account enrollments, device activations, and account setup. Working alongside service technicians, you'll help deliver a seamless customer experience while ensuring customers feel confident using their new technology.
Responsibilities of the Home Technology Consultant
- Meet with customers during scheduled home appointments to present Verizon Wireless products, smartphones, mobile devices, wireless plans, and current promotions.
- Educate customers on wireless technology, connectivity solutions, device features, pricing, and service options.
- Recommend products and wireless plans based on each customer's communication and technology needs.
- Assist interested customers with new wireless enrollments, account setup, device activation, upgrades, and account transfers.
- Answer customer questions and provide clear, personalized guidance throughout the enrollment process.
- Build strong customer relationships through outstanding service, product knowledge, and professional communication.
- Consistently achieve individual and team performance goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications of the Home Technology Consultant
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, technology support, or telecommunications is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Comfortable interacting with customers in person and explaining technology in a simple, easy-to-understand manner.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in smartphones, wireless technology, mobile devices, and customer-facing sales.
- Willingness to learn Verizon Wireless products, services, promotions, and sales techniques through ongoing training.
