Welder / Fabricator – Chicago, IL
Pay: $22–$33/hr, depending on experience
We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator who can read blueprints, perform layout, and fabricate steel stairs, handrails, fences, and structural steel. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus!
Requirements:
- Proficient in reading shop drawings/blueprints
- Fabrication experience with stairs, handrails, fences, structural steel, or miscellaneous steel
- Willingness to learn basic installation techniques
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and crouch during the shift
- Resume required for screening
Preferred Skills:
- MIG and Stick welding (TIG a plus)
- Experience with layout from shop drawings
