About the Role
This isn't a typical phone sales position.
At Parts Box, our sales representatives own the customer experience from the initial phone call until the customer's order is on its way. You'll help customers identify the right part, provide accurate information, coordinate with our warehouse team, follow up throughout the process, and make sure every customer receives outstanding service.
You'll be trusted to make decisions, solve problems, and build lasting relationships with customers.
What You'll Do
- Answer inbound calls from customers looking to purchase auto parts.
- Welcome walk-in customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide outstanding in-person service.
- Identify the correct parts using VINs, vehicle options, and interchange software.
- Verify inventory availability, quality, and compatibility before quoting customers.
- Prepare accurate quotes for parts, shipping, and available warranty options.
- Recommend warranties and additional products that provide value to the customer.
- Follow up on open quotes through phone, text, and email.
- Close sales while providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Monitor the status of customer orders throughout the warehouse process.
- Coordinate closely with inventory, dismantling, shipping, and management to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Keep customers informed throughout the ordering process and proactively communicate delays or changes.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and work toward positive solutions.
- Build relationships with repair shops, dealerships, insurance companies, and retail customers.
- Encourage satisfied customers to leave Google reviews and recommend Parts Box to others.

Preferred Experience
While we're willing to train the right individual, experience in any of the following is highly preferred:
- Automotive parts sales
- Automotive repair or mechanical work
- Collision repair
- Dealership parts or service departments
- Auto recycling or salvage
- Customer service
- Sales
