Must be 21 years of age or older, pass a criminal background check, pass a D.O.T. physical and drug test.
Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver packages along assigned routes within designated areas.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring all items are handled with care and secured properly for transport.
- Navigate route driving efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards; report any mechanical issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route planning and driving safety.
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients during deliveries.
- Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, and equipment operation like forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Ability to operate box trucks, familiarity with commercial driving regulations is essential.
- Physical stamina for moving packages of varying weights; comfort with heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing.
- Excellent navigation skills with a focus on route efficiency and punctuality.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and must past a drug test. THC of any kind is not allowed. Pay: $46,800.00 - $52,000.00 per year
