Position: Shop Carpenter
Pay: Competitive; Pay Range $20-23/hr (based on experience)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Location: Park Forest, IL
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Shop Carpenter to start IMMEDIATELY at a competitive pay rate. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts to create sub-assemblies or finished products
- Measure, cut, and install plywood for walls and floors
- Measure and cut sheet metal for HVAC duct work
- Install paneling, vinyl flooring, and insulation
- Perform cabinet, door, trim, countertop, and accessory installation (handles, mudflaps, steps)
- Install drop ceilings and windows
- Perform repetitive physical tasks; work in high-noise environments
- Work at heights, including climbing stairs, trailers, and ladders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in carpentry and fabrication
- Ability to work in high-noise areas and at heights
- Capable of lifting up to 49 lbs frequently
- Able to bend, kneel, stoop, stand, reach, climb, twist, and crawl
- Strong physical stamina and attention to detail
Skills:
- Carpenter expertise (assembly, measuring, cutting)
- Experience with drywall, flooring, HVAC, and paneling installation
- Knowledge of safety protocols for working at heights and in industrial environments
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high physical activity levels
