We're a growing early childhood education organization looking for an experienced Preschool Director to lead one of our Middlesex County schools. This is an opportunity to become part of a leadership team that believes great schools are built by great people.
This isn't a position where you'll spend your day sitting behind a desk.
You'll be leading your team, supporting families, growing enrollment, building community partnerships, celebrating milestones, coaching teachers, and making sure every child has an incredible experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the day-to-day operations of the school
- Building a positive, supportive culture for children, families, and staff
- Hiring, mentoring, and developing an amazing team
- Maintaining New Jersey licensing standards and ensuring compliance
- Giving tours and helping new families feel at home
- Growing enrollment through community involvement and local partnerships
- Supporting teachers with coaching, encouragement, and leadership
- Managing staffing, scheduling, and daily operations
- Creating a school environment that families can't wait to recommend
We'd Love to Meet Someone Who...
- Has at least 2 years of Preschool Director experience
- Knows New Jersey childcare licensing inside and out
- Is organized, confident, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Loves building relationships with families and staff
- Believes happy teachers create happy classrooms
- Understands that enrollment, customer service, and school culture all go hand in hand
- Isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump in wherever they're needed
Experience opening or growing a childcare center is a huge plus, but your passion for leadership and early childhood education matters just as much.
