Overview
JR Luxe Properties is seeking a reliable, skilled, and responsive Handyman to maintain our short-term rental properties. This role is responsible for completing preventative maintenance, handling repairs, preparing homes for guests, and responding quickly to maintenance emergencies to ensure every property remains in excellent condition.
- Perform routine maintenance and property inspections.
- Install and assemble furniture, TVs, shelves, artwork, blinds, curtain rods, and décor.
- Complete minor plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, drains, garbage disposals).
- Perform basic electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches, smoke detectors).
- Repair drywall, patch holes, paint touch-ups, and caulking.
- Diagnose and repair minor HVAC issues when possible.
- Replace locks, smart lock batteries, and troubleshoot smart home devices.
- Repair doors, cabinets, hinges, flooring, and other general wear and tear.
- Coordinate with management regarding larger repairs requiring licensed contractors.
- Be available for guest-related maintenance emergencies, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when scheduled.
- Document completed work with photos and communicate updates promptly.
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
