Shift: Afternoon: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Shift Premium Amount: $2.00
Pay Rate: $22.55
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment to produce finished goods to production specifications.
- Understand and be able to safely STOP equipment during normal conditions and during an emergency.
- Set Machine up to SOC using the appropriate conditions.
- Use a computer system to set run conditions and adjust as necessary within SOC.
- Perform Line start up and Line shut down.
- Understand and safely operate equipment.
- Follow all training documents or standard operating procedures (SOP) to operate the line safely and efficiently.
- Ability to use production reporting systems to fulfill job functions.
- Always safely operate lab equipment.
- Understand all quality lab equipment and be able to operate and adjust as necessary to safely test film samples.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry as the main operator of one or multiple processes
- Strong mechanical aptitude is desired.
- Ability to make sound decisions and follow guidelines.
- Must have good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
- High awareness toward safety.
- Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
- Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs.
- Hand and eye coordination.
- Use stairs and hand tools as required by job.
