Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, to ensure timely completion of all duties.
- Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver high-quality service while fostering a positive team environment.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and procedures aligned with hotel standards and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and laundry facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage guest requests or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Enforce health and safety policies related to cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and equipment usage to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial management within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning practices, laundry operations, and janitorial services.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments preferred; familiarity with industry standards is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management software or related tools is a plus.
