Overview
Hands-on bench role performing electrical and mechanical testing on precision assemblies. You’ll set up test fixtures, verify wattage/voltage/current, check wiring/continuity, and document results per procedures.
Responsibilities
- Set up analysis equipment and fixtures (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, other bench instruments).
- Run electrical/mechanical tests per travelers and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs).
- Record results on travelers/ATPs; maintain accurate, legible test documentation.
- Troubleshoot and document nonconformances; route for correction.
- Work under a microscope on small, precision assemblies as needed.
- Support adjacent departments and perform other test duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- AA/AS in Electronics Technology (or equivalent) and 3 years in aerospace/medical/manufacturing test.
- Read/interpret drawings, work instructions, and ATPs.
- Solid grasp of electronics fundamentals (Ohm’s Law; voltage/current/power measurements).
- Comfortable with mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools/fixtures.
- Detail-driven, organized, and safe work practices (ESD awareness a plus).
