De Asian is a Thai & Japanese fusion restaurant offering sushi, cocktails, ramen, and a fun, fast-paced dining experience. We are looking for a motivated Barback / Server to join our team and grow with us.
Position Summary
This position supports both the bar and dining room operations. Responsibilities include assisting bartenders, serving guests, maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. This role has the opportunity to grow into a bartender position in the future.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders with stocking beer, liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area
- Run food and drinks to guests
- Take customer orders and provide friendly table service
- Wash and polish glassware as needed
- Refill ice, restock supplies, and assist during busy shifts
- Support the team to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Follow all alcohol service and food safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Experience is not required — we are willing to train the right candidate
- Must have or be able to obtain a Washington State alcohol serving permit (MAST Permit)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy hours
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
