Join a Growing, Independent Hearing Healthcare Practice
Family Hearing Center, part of Vanier Hearing Center LLC, is seeking an experienced and motivated Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS), Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist (BC-HIS), or Doctor of Audiology (AuD) to join our growing team in Central New Hampshire.
This is an opportunity for a hearing care professional who wants more than a traditional hearing aid dispensing position. Our providers focus on comprehensive hearing healthcare, patient education, evidence-based treatment recommendations, and building long-term relationships with the people and communities we serve.
We are a privately owned and independently operated hearing healthcare organization, allowing our providers to focus on what is right for the patient without the limitations often associated with large corporate or manufacturer-owned practices.
What You'll Do
As a Hearing Care Provider, you will manage patients throughout their hearing healthcare journey, including:
- Comprehensive hearing evaluations and case-history review
- Hearing aid consultations and treatment recommendations
- Selection, fitting, programming, and verification of advanced hearing technology
- Real Ear Measurement (REM) and evidence-based fitting protocols
- Speech-in-noise testing and patient-centered counseling
- Follow-up care, rehabilitation, and treatment-plan management
- Hearing aid troubleshooting, adjustments, and ongoing optimization
- Patient and family education regarding hearing loss and treatment
- Development of long-term patient relationships and strong continuity of care
- Collaboration with our clinical, administrative, and leadership teams
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and appropriate standards of care
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who combines excellent clinical skills with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Qualified candidates will be one of the following:
- New Hampshire-licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS)
- Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist (BC-HIS)
- Doctor of Audiology (AuD) eligible for or currently holding appropriate New Hampshire licensure
Experienced providers are strongly encouraged to apply, although we are also interested in meeting ambitious professionals who want to grow within an independent organization.
The ideal candidate is:
- Patient-focused and relationship-driven
- Confident discussing hearing loss and treatment recommendations
- Comfortable working toward measurable clinical and practice goals
- Organized and accountable
- Motivated to continually improve clinical and communication skills
- Interested in modern hearing healthcare and emerging technology
- A team player who also enjoys autonomy in patient care
- Looking for a long-term professional home rather than simply their next job
