American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position requiring a minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience and Epic proficiency in a Level I Trauma facility setting.

Work setting is a cardiovascular-focused OR unit within a hospital environment
-
Patient population includes cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and transplant surgical cases
-
Night shift schedule: 7PM–7AM on Fridays and Saturdays plus one additional weekday night per week (3x12-hour shifts)

No on-call responsibilities

Must be flexible with scheduling

Epic EMR is required

Active OH or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant nursing

Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility

Proficiency in Epic EMR required

Hands-on experience with general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures required

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, Supervisor, or other formal leadership role; a Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Former employees of the facility are eligible to return as travelers after a minimum 6-month separation

Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period

All candidates must complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly after accepting an offer; candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to a fingerprinting location or will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet to complete urgently
