Role Description The Retail Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA. This role is responsible for welcoming clients to the showroom, understanding their design needs, and guiding them through furniture and décor selections that align with their style and budget. The consultant will present product features and benefits, prepare and follow up on quotes and orders, and coordinate with the design and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and installation. Daily tasks include maintaining showroom presentation standards, updating product knowledge, managing customer records, and supporting promotional events. The role requires consistent focus on building long-term client relationships, meeting sales targets, and contributing to an exceptional showroom experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Sales Consulting and Retail Sales, with the ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Strong Customer Experience and Customer Service skills, focused on creating a welcoming, professional showroom environment.
- Commitment to achieving high Customer Satisfaction through attentive listening, follow-through, and problem-solving.
- Interest or experience in interior design, furniture, or luxury retail is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with design and operations teams.
- Comfort using POS systems and basic office software for orders and client records.
- Ability to work on-site full time, including weekends.
- Previous experience in retail or showroom sales preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, additional education in design or business is a plus.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
