Overview:
We are looking for housekeepers to provide a very clean, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests. At Cherokee Mountain Cabins we want every guest to feel as though they are the ONLY guest who has stayed at their cabin.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires good physical health with the ability to lift 50 pounds, walk and navigate stairs with the ability to clean under beds, furniture and appliances
Duties:
· Report to work on time in the proper CMC uniform attire.
· Clean each cabin in a timely manner using checklist immediately upon guest departure – keeping cabin presentation uniform. Strip Linens and start laundry
· Report to the office staff immediately if cabin is found in a disarray or if the guest left something behind
· Report any needed maintenance repairs on checklist so that housekeeper supervisor can do a request for maintenance to address as needed
· Make sure all trash at cabin is put in the outside bin for maintenance to collect.
· Fold laundry and cycle any loads that may need to be started.
· Any items that need to be restocked at cabins should be done prior to calling for an inspection.
· Notify office 30 minutes prior to completion of cabin clean; so that the housekeeping supervisor can be notified to completed cabin inspection.
· Each housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and restocking their totes after each use
· Must complete and return the checklist the house keeper supervisor.
Hours:
Work a flexible schedule that is based around cabin bookings and vacancies.
Compensation based on established fix rate per cabin and /or hourly rate.
(Full-time Housekeepers average $16/hour)

Equipment:
All cleaning equipment and supplies will be provided by employer. Upon completion of each clean the equipment shall be returned to the spring house and restocked for the next use. Equipment is not to be removed from the property.
Driver's License & Personal vehicle will be required to drive to each cabin and laundry facility. Must be able to pass a background check.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
