. Operate production equipment
. Lead tier I (Pre-Shift) meetings
. Communicate any issues/updates to other Team Leads and/or department leadership
. Act as point-of-contact for any issues on shift and direct appropriate resources to the issue
. Conduct connective checking
. Coach employees on any performance issues and report ongoing/serious incidents to Area Manager
. Has the authority to send an employee home for a serious incident
. Complete temporary transfer checklists
. Maintain production schedule as established on virtual board
. Maintain safety program and initiatives
. Attend Team Lead Meetings
. Ensure quality and consistency of products
. Deal with quality situations as they arise and report to Area Manager for root cause analysis
. Report all breakdowns to maintenance via tech board
. Handle & report employee call-ins
. SAP production reporting
. Ensure participation in stretching program
. Assist with 6S audits
. Assign tasks to shifts
. Understand the incident reporting process
. Act as a go-to person in emergency situations
. Complete daily safety checklists
. Assess parking lot conditions midway through shift during winter weather
