About the role: We are seeking a Filling Supervisor that will oversee the daily operations of the filling lines to ensure products are filled, capped, and labeled accurately, efficiently, and safely. This role manages the filling team, ensures compliance with SOPs and GMP standards, and works with other departments to keep production on schedule.
The role is on-site in our brand new Mesa, AZ facility.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Supervise filling line operators and support staff.

Plan and coordinate daily filling activities to meet production goals.

Ensure all employees follow SOPs, GMP, and safety rules.

Train and coach team members on proper filling and packaging procedures.

Monitor line performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.

Verify that equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and maintained properly.

Review and complete filling records, logbooks, and production documentation.

Work closely with Compounding, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure materials and products are ready for filling.

Enforce FIFO (First-In-First-Out) handling of bulk and packaging materials.

Support continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

2+ years of experience in manufacturing, filling, or packaging, with management experience.

Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and safety procedures.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to train, supervise, and motivate a team.
-
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.

Ability to stand and walk continuously across the filling floor for the entire scheduled shift (typically 8-12 hours), moving frequently between lines; this is an essential function of the role.

Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials, samples, or equipment components weighing up to 60 lbs, and to assist with moving loads up to 500 lbs using equipment when needed.

Ability to frequently bend and reach to observe line operation, troubleshoot equipment, and verify product and label accuracy.

Ability to move quickly and safely between filling lines to respond to downtime, quality issues, or safety concerns.

Manual dexterity sufficient to operate computer systems, handheld devices, and filling line controls.

Near and far vision sufficient to review production documentation and to visually monitor line performance and staff activity across the filling floor.

Hearing sufficient to detect equipment alarms and communicate with staff in an environment with elevated line noise.

Ability to tolerate exposure to product odors, varying temperatures, and elevated noise levels typical of filling operations.

Ability to wear required PPE for the full shift, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and slip-resistant closed-toe footwear.

Compliance with all GMP, SOP, and plant safety/OSHA requirements.
