Grand Valley Wood Products is a leader in the West Michigan market for providing custom architectural millwork for Hospitals, Corporate Offices, Banks, etc.
We mfg. custom cabinets, reception desks, countertops, lockers, etc.
We are currently looking to hire for a position in our Hardware Department. The Hardware department includes final assembly of commercial cabinets including the installation of cabinet doors, drawers, locks, cabinet pull, and final cleaning of cabinets. This is the last step in the production process prior to cabinets being delivered to the site.
Applicants must be able to read and understand construction shop drawings. This is a detail oriented position that requires attention to small details. Applicants should be proficient using screw guns, drills, and a measuring tape. Previous cabinet assembly or carpentry work is desired.
Work weeks would range from 40-55 hours per week depending on workload. This is a first shift position.
