- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed
- Support catering and special event meal preparations to meet specific dietary needs and guest expectations

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and a smooth kitchen operation
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent knife skills with the ability to prepare ingredients quickly and precisely
- Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
- Ability to assist in menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs
- Familiarity with catering services, serving standards, and food industry best practices
