Thrive Dental Assistant School is seeking a passionate and reliable Dental Assistant Instructor to help train the next generation of dental assistants in our accelerated 12-week program.
This position is ideal for an experienced dental assistant who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students in a supportive learning environment.
Our program combines classroom instruction with simulation-based hands-on training hosted in local dental offices. No live patient care is involved during instruction.
Responsibilities
- Teach dental assisting fundamentals and chairside procedures
- Demonstrate proper infection control and operatory setup
- Assist students with instrument identification and dental terminology
- Support students during simulation-based lab activities
- Track attendance and student progress
- Create a positive and professional classroom environment
- Prepare students for entry-level dental assisting careers
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Dental assisting certification preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Passion for education and mentoring
- Ability to teach hands-on clinical skills in a classroom setting
