The Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Representative serves as one of the first points of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and compassionate patient experience.
Working closely with our Senior Medical Front Desk Representative, providers, nurses, and medical assistants, this position supports the daily operations of the front office by managing scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, payment collection, and administrative tasks while ensuring every patient feels welcomed, respected, and cared for.
Because Invested Health Center serves a diverse, multilingual patient population, this role requires the ability to communicate professionally with patients in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Minimum 2 years of recent experience working as a medical receptionist, medical front desk representative, or patient access representative.

Experience with patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and payment collection.

Experience using AthenaOne EHR.

Experience in primary care or specialty outpatient practice.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Basic understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding concepts.

Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Conversational or fluent Portuguese (spoken) required.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Authorization to work in the United States.
