Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery essential for construction projects
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and site cleanup to maintain smooth workflow
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute construction plans effectively and efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and project progress
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites
- Construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and procedures
- Ability to operate multiple types of machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, 627 scrapers and farm equipment pulling discs and box blades
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
