Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori methods and preschool curricula.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques.
- Support children’s developmental milestones by applying knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social skills.
- Collaborate with families, specialists, and other educators to support children with special education needs or those requiring additional support.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, standardized testing results, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that prioritizes child welfare and complies with all licensing regulations for daycare or private school settings.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Experience in curriculum development across various domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and special education.
- Familiarity with early intervention practices and supporting children with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori principles or other educational frameworks suited for preschool-aged learners.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
