Asphalt Paving General Laborer
Location: Alamosa, Co and surrounding areas
JENNMAR Services is currently seeking an Experienced Asphalt Paving General Laborer to join our team in Colorado. This position plays a key role in supporting highway, utility, and grading crews, as well as assisting at various on-site plant locations.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires the ability to follow supervisor instructions and work independently on routine tasks. More complex assignments will be performed under direct supervision. Frequent travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties related to asphalt paving and construction
- Assist highway, utility, and grading crews as needed
- Work at plant locations and job sites as assigned
- Follow instructions to complete tasks safely and efficiently

- Previous asphalt paving or construction experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Willingness to travel for project assignments
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach above shoulder level
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50–75 lbs as needed
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Work Environment
- Work is performed in outdoor construction settings and plant locations
- Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and varying weather conditions
- May be exposed to extreme cold and/or heat
- Noise levels are typically moderate to lou

Compensation for the Paving Laborer Position:
- $18.00 - $24.00 per hour DOE
- Health, Vision, Dental after 60 days
