Seeking a hospitality specialist to assist in customer service at a beautiful and tranquil retreat center in Los Gatos. Typical events include corporate retreats, conferences, summer camps, and weddings.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests at check-in
- Answer questions and help address complaints
- Assist kitchen staff with serving meals (usually buffet style)
- Assist with clean up of dining room after meals (light sweeping, wiping tables)
- Interact and check-in with guests to ensure positive experience
- Communicate any issues with management staff
- Perform tours of the facility with future guests
Requirements and skills
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- High School diploma; additional qualifications will be a plus
Salary and Hours
- 30-40 hours per week during the months of June through October.
- Minimum 24 hours per week during off season.
