We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Part-Time Landscape Technician to assist with lawn maintenance, landscaping projects, property cleanups, and seasonal services.
Position Overview
The Landscape Technician will work alongside our crew lead and other team members to complete residential and light commercial property services safely, efficiently, and to Outpost quality standards.
This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who takes pride in their work, follows instructions, communicates well, and can be counted on to show up ready to work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
- Assist with landscape cleanups and bed preparation
- Install mulch, decorative rock, soil, seed, straw, sod, plants, and shrubs
- Trim shrubs, bushes, and small trees
- Assist with drainage, grading, and lawn repair projects
- Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
- Maintain clean and organized trucks, trailers, and work areas
- Safely operate handheld and commercial landscaping equipment
- Remove and properly dispose of landscape debris
- Follow job instructions and communicate concerns to the crew lead
- Maintain a professional appearance and respectful attitude around customers
- Complete work efficiently while protecting the customer’s property
Qualifications
- Dependable transportation to the designated meeting or work location
- Ability to arrive on time and work scheduled shifts consistently
- Willingness to work outdoors in heat, cold, and changing weather conditions
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Professional and respectful communication
- Landscaping, lawn care, construction, or outdoor labor experience is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50–75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical work
- Ability to safely work around commercial lawn and landscape equipment
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work for extended periods
