Lead the Next Generation of AI-Driven Healthcare Investing
We are seeking an accomplished Chief Investment Officer to lead the investment strategy and portfolio management of a $30 million venture capital fund focused on transformative healthcare companies leveraging artificial intelligence.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced investor to build and manage a high-conviction portfolio at the intersection of healthcare innovation and AI. The successful candidate will be based full-time in our Naples, Florida office and will work closely with the fund's leadership, investors, and portfolio company executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the fund's investment strategy within healthcare AI and related technologies.
- Source, evaluate, and lead investments in early-stage and growth-stage healthcare companies.
- Conduct rigorous commercial, financial, clinical, regulatory, and technical due diligence.
- Lead investment committee presentations and recommendations.
- Negotiate term sheets and transaction documents alongside legal counsel.
- Actively manage and support portfolio companies, including board participation where appropriate.
- Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, co-investors, venture firms, academic institutions, health systems, and strategic partners.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular reporting to fund leadership and limited partners.
- Identify emerging market trends in artificial intelligence, digital health, diagnostics, therapeutics, medical devices, healthcare IT, and data-driven healthcare solutions.
- Help recruit and mentor investment professionals as the fund grows.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of venture capital, growth equity, private equity, investment banking, or corporate venture experience with a significant focus on healthcare.
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing, leading, and exiting successful investments.
- Deep understanding of AI applications in healthcare, including digital health, clinical workflows, diagnostics, life sciences, or healthcare infrastructure.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, and investment underwriting skills.
- Experience serving on boards or working closely with executive leadership teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MD, PhD, or equivalent), though exceptional investment experience will be considered in lieu of advanced credentials.

Location Requirement
This position is based in Naples, Florida. Daily, in-office attendance is required. This is not a remote or hybrid position. Candidates should either reside in the Naples area or be willing to relocate prior to employment.
