American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required Siemens equipment proficiency for an outpatient imaging assignment.

Outpatient radiology setting performing CT imaging
-
Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
-
Average daily census of 32 patients
-
Patient ratio of 1:2
-
Performs abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, and cardiac/vascular CT studies
-
Utilizes 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement techniques
-
Documentation completed in Epic (IHIS)
-
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, Monday through Thursday, either 7:00 AM-5:30 PM or 8:00 AM-6:30 PM

No weekend or call requirements

No floating required

Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
-
ARRT(CT) and BLS certifications required
-
HS diploma and college diplomas/transcripts required

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Epic charting system experience required

Siemens CT equipment experience required
-
Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture

Prior travel assignment experience required

License required if applicable

Responsibilities include performing CT imaging studies including abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, chest, and cardiac/vascular scans

Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; coworker references are not accepted

First-time travelers will not be considered for this role

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees of the health system are ineligible for this travel position

RTO must be requested and built into the contract at time of consideration, limited to 7 days or less
