Teacher Assistant / Support Staff- Columbia Falls
Flathead Childcare is hiring a Teacher Assistant / Support Staff member.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being around children, wants experience in childcare, or is looking to grow within the early childhood field. We are looking for someone who is dependable, kind, patient, and willing to help wherever needed.
Our program is nature-based, screen-free, and focused on building strong relationships with children through play, outdoor experiences, and positive guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom activities
- Help supervise children alongside qualified staff
- Support outdoor play and activities
- Assist with cleaning and organization
- Help with snack and meal preparation
- Support daily classroom routines
This position always works alongside qualified staff and does not independently supervise children.
Qualifications:
- Reliable and dependable
- Enjoys working with children
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Childcare experience helpful but not required
Flathead Childcare has multiple locations in the Flathead Valley. Depending on experience, availability, and program needs, there may be opportunities for flexibility or growth within the company for the right candidate.
Opportunities for additional hours and growth may be available for dependable employees.
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
