The individual we seek for this position is an experienced hardscaper who implements hardscape design plans for commercial and residential customers in the Dayton, Ohio area. The Hardscape Team Leaders are responsible for training and supervising one or more team members, while also performing a variety of landscaping construction duties, such as installing paver patios, retaining walls, garden ponds, and low voltage lighting.
In this full-time seasonal position, you will regularly communicate and collaborate with other with team leaders and coworkers and maintain relationships with external associates, such as project managers, clients, and others. Hardscape Team Leaders are responsible ensuring that all daily tasks are completed on schedule and according to quality standards.
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the hardscape field is required, along with a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read and understand blueprints, and an understanding of maintenance requirements related to hardscape, low voltage lighting, water features, and irrigation systems. Must be willing and able to work weekends and overtime as needed. Must be able to obtain in-house certifications after hire and must possess a valid Ohio Class A Commercial Driver’s License that is not currently suspended or revoked.
We’re seeking a Hardscape Team Leader who exhibits qualities of a leader in all aspects of his or her work, including but not limited to setting an example for team members of a strong and positive work ethic, a safety mindset, and a willing-to-please demeanor with regard to quality work and our customers.
