Brennan Lenehan Iacopino & Hickey are seeking an Associate Attorney (licensed) with three to five years of experience in state and/or federal criminal defense. Candidates with criminal and civil litigation experience are encouraged to apply.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate is a licensed attorney who has successfully passed the bar exam and is authorized to practice law in New Hampshire. This candidate is a thoughtful, confident advocate who stays composed under pressure, exercises sound judgment in complex situations, and communicates effectively with clients, courts, and colleagues. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with court appearances and motion practice, brings strong legal writing and analytical skills, and can manage a demanding caseload with professionalism, discretion, and care.
This role is well suited to an attorney who is motivated by meaningful work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to make a real difference for clients navigating the criminal legal system.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Must have passed the bar exam and be currently licensed to practice law in New Hampshire
- Active bar membership in good standing (required at time of application or before start date)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of relevant criminal legal experience
- Experience in Criminal, Civil and Family
