Assistant High School Football Coaching Positions Opening (Offense & Defense)
Forsyth High School is seeking committed and energetic football coaches to join our program for the upcoming season. The positions include coaching responsibilities on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, depending on experience and program needs.
Responsibilities:
Coach a position group on offense and/or defense at the high school level (Varsity/JV)
Teach and develop fundamental football skills, techniques, and scheme understanding
Assist with game planning, film breakdown, and opponent scouting
Help implement offensive and defensive systems aligned with program philosophy
Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and teamwork
Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and offseason activities
Support strength and conditioning and multi-sport athlete development
Qualifications:
Previous high school or collegiate playing/coaching experience preferred
Strong understanding of offensive and/or defensive football concepts
Ability to build relationships with student-athletes and staff
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must meet all state coaching requirements
Preferred:
Ability to coach multiple positions or contribute on both sides of the ball
Experience with film systems (Hudl Endzone Camera)
Willingness to be involved in offseason training and program development
Teaching positions may be available based on certification and district needs
