Job Overview:
D&L Mortuary Transportation is seeking an organized dispatcher to join our mortuary transportation team. In this vital role, you will collect and record information from our clients and coordinate the movement of our technicians using GPS technology. This is a work from home position, candidates must live in Southwest Florida.
Seeking candidates to work 3:00 pm-11:00 pm and/or 11:00 pm-7:00 am
- CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN SW FLORIDA
Responsibilities:
- Answer calls from funeral directors and answering services, collect and record all information accurately.
- Assign calls to teams of technicians.
- Monitor GPS tracking data to optimize routes and provide accurate arrival times.
- Communicate effectively with funeral directors, technicians, nurses and law enforcement using phone systems while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Must have laptop and working Wi-Fi and a quiet working environment.
Experience
- Experience in the funeral industry or dispatching within the transportation environment is preferred but will train the right candidate.
- Strong familiarity using cell phones, computer, GPS systems and maps.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in an often, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
