American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with CVOR/Open Heart experience for a travel OR position at a hospital in Lafayette, IN.

Hospital Operating Room setting with 10 ORs on the 2nd Floor North
-
Patient population includes General, Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, GYN, ENT, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and Open Heart/CVOR cases
-
Charting performed in Epic EMR
-
Schedule is four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM), Monday–Friday with a rotating day off
-
Weekday and weekend call rotation required

No float requirements
-
13-week contract
-
Minimum 3 years of CST experience required
-
CST certification and NBSTSA certification required
-
BLS certification required
-
CVOR/Open Heart experience required
-
Epic EMR experience
-
US SSN required
-
Active license required, if applicable
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Robotics training and Vascular/Open Heart experience are preferred

Surgery scrubs are provided by the facility

Ideal candidate is positive, self-motivated, attentive, and able to anticipate surgical needs in a fast-paced environment

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay package

First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 3+ years of experience is required
