About the Position:
Cornerstone Retirement Advisors is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Client Service Associate to support our advisors and serve our clients with professionalism and care. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accurate work, follows through consistently, and enjoys helping people navigate important financial decisions.
The right candidate will have financial-services experience, hold the required certifications/licenses, and be comfortable working with client accounts, financial documents, investment-related tasks, and confidential information. You’ll be part of a relationship-centered firm where your work directly impacts our clients and our team.
What You’ll Do:
- Client communication — Serve as a primary point of contact and respond to client questions promptly and professionally.
- Account administration — Assist with account opening, maintenance, transfers, distributions, and related requests.
- Recordkeeping — Prepare and maintain accurate forms, reports, and financial documents.
- Advisor support — Assist with planning, investment management, retirement planning, and other advisory tasks.
- Coordination — Work with clients, custodians, attorneys, accountants, and other professional partners as needed.
- Operational support — Help with cash management, portfolio administration, and general client service needs.
- Meeting preparation — Schedule appointments and ensure advisors have the necessary information and materials.
- System accuracy — Enter and maintain information accurately in financial software and CRM systems.
- Compliance — Follow established procedures, maintain confidentiality, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Team contribution — Take ownership of assigned tasks and support the team where needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Financial-services experience
- Required certificates/licenses
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy and discretion when handling confidential information
- Professional communication skills and a client-service mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Dependable work ethic and initiative
Preferred:
- Experience with investment or retirement accounts, insurance, or financial planning
- Direct client-service experience
- Familiarity with financial planning or investment processes
- Experience with custodians, broker-dealers, or other financial institutions
- Knowledge of estate planning, trusts, tax matters, or accounting
- Experience with CRM or financial-planning software
