Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity and comfort working with elementary-aged students is advantageous
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to an assigned caseload of approximately 40 elementary students
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to inform individualized intervention plans
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams
- Collaborate effectively with special education personnel, classroom teachers, school administrators, and families
- Maintain thorough records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
