Job Summary
We're looking for a reliable, dedicated, hard-working staff member to join our team as a full-time Dishwasher and Bakery Assistant. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and occasionally assisting with basic food preparation.
Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes and kitchen equipment
- Keep display areas clean, and well-stocked with packaging materials
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, portioning ingredients for bakery items and menu offerings
- Ensure the kitchen and bakery areas are kept clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
- Bus tables during busy service periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Responsible for cleaning the bakery at closing, which includes wiping tables, sweeping and mopping the floor
Experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably is a must
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling practices, or bakery work is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
