Job Description:
The Communication Sciences & Disorders Program is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach American Sign Language during the day, either on Mondays and Wednesdays or on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in person in the CSD department for Fall 2026.
Pay: $2,750 per semester
Format:
Elms College uses Moodle LMS, Google Workplace, and Zoom for remote learning/advising. Course sizes are small and typically less than 20 per class.
Duties/responsibilities:
Instructors will be responsible for:
- Preparing course plans and materials
- Delivering courses
- Monitoring progress/attendance
- Recording midterm and final grades and submitting assessment reports as requested
Application Requirements:
A master’s degree in American Sign Language or a Bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language with substantial experience in teaching ASL is required.
