Fire Bros. is Hiring a Full-Time Cannabis Processing Associate!
Fire Bros. is on the hunt for a reliable and detail-oriented Cannabis Processing Associate to join our Pre-roll Department! As demand for our fire products grows, we need a sharp, efficient Associate who can carefully, quickly, and masterfully manicure and package our flower while maintaining top-tier quality.
This role primarily focuses on trimming, but the right candidate may also be trained to assist in other departments as needed, including Joint Knocking/Packing, Order Picking, and Extraction.
▶ What We’re Looking For:
- Punctual & Responsible- Show up on time and sober every day.
- Able to Perform Essential Job Functions- Must be able to lift and transport up to 40 lbs, stay stationary for long periods, and move across facilities as needed.
- Detail-Oriented & Consistent- Accuracy and efficiency are key in processing and packaging.
- Proactive & Independent- Able to troubleshoot issues and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Growth Oriented- Committed to both self-improvement and helping the company grow.
▶ Work Performed:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) carefully to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards. Pay close attention to directions from Leads and posted daily task information to stay aligned with workflow expectations.
- Inspect flower and ensure it meets quality standards.
- Trimming leaf material from the flower efficiently without hurting the bud.
- Follow cleanliness protocols by disposing of plant waste and maintaining clean equipment and workstations.
- Uphold Fire Bros. quality standards and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
▶ Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No Part-Time scheduling available
▶ Education, Experience & Training:
- Basic computer literacy
- Proficiency and consistency in app-based communication
- Experience is preferred but not required
▶ Additional Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact promptly and clearly with staff.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities with a steady and solutions-oriented approach
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work under deadlines
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check
▶ Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation includes a starting wage of $21 an hour, with an additional once a month share of Employee Revenue Share (ERS) pool after a 90 day probationary period.
- Individual shares of the ERS pool most often provide an additional $400-$700 per month, based on sales and hours worked.
- Company sponsored health, dental, vision, and life insurance after a 90 day probationary period.
