Convenience Store Lead Associate – V&R Corporation

About the Role
V&R Corporation is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Lead Associate to manage floor operations at our convenience store location. This role focuses on inventory, stocking, and food service — you will not be handling registers or money. Instead, you'll be the backbone of daily store operations, making sure shelves are full, food service is running smoothly, and inventory is accurately managed.
Responsibilities
- Stock and face shelves throughout the store to maintain a full, organized sales floor
- Prepare and serve food items per store standards and food safety guidelines
- Manage inventory ordering: place product orders, receive deliveries, unload stock, and put away product
- Monitor stock levels and proactively flag reorder needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stockroom, coolers, and food service areas
- Rotate stock to minimize spoilage/expiration (FIFO practices)
- Assist with occasional outdoor tasks (deliveries, exterior stocking, etc.)
- Support store leadership with day-to-day floor operations
Requirements
- Must be 18+
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
- Comfortable working outdoors as needed
- Prior convenience store, retail, or food service experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Food handler's certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)

- No register operation
- No cash or money handling
