If you know construction and you're drawn to the technology reshaping it—drones, laser scanning, 360° reality capture—this is the operations role that puts you at the center of both. We're growing fast, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
Who We're Looking For
This role is a natural next step for people who already understand how a jobsite runs and want a different angle on the business:
- Project managers and assistant PMs ready to trade a single project for a portfolio—and a team of their own.
- Field professionals fluent in reality-capture tech (laser scanning, UAV/drone work, 360° imagery) who want to lead the people doing the work, not just do it.
- Fast learners who know the trade —you can read drawings, talk the language of a jobsite, and pick up new platforms quickly because you're genuinely curious about where the industry is headed.
You don't need to have done all of this before. What matters most is construction fluency, a drive to learn quickly, and the ambition to build a career here.
The Role
As Operations Manager, you're the backbone of our local market. Our field-based Documentation Specialists capture inspection-grade visual data on active jobsites; you make sure they have the training, tools, and logistical support to deliver it flawlessly. You'll own the day-to-day, develop the team, and partner with sales and regional leadership to keep clients confident and projects on track.
What You'll Own
- Lead the field team. Direct, mentor, and grow a crew of Documentation Specialists—handling scheduling, hiring, training, and career development.
- Deliver quality, on time and on budget. Make sure every capture meets our inspection-grade standard, and build the QA habits that keep it that way.
- Sharpen the operation. Continuously refine capture and upload workflows to cut errors and move faster as we scale.
- Manage the resources. Oversee equipment (cameras, UAVs, scanners) and operational budgets to hit profitability targets.
- Connect the dots. Work with sales and regional management to share project updates, relay client feedback, and spot opportunities for more services.
- Keep it safe and compliant. Ensure the team follows jobsite safety regulations and company policy, every site, every time.
What You Bring
- Construction fluency. Field Supervisor, PM, or assistant-PM experience—you can read drawings and blueprints and speak the language of a jobsite.
- Reality-capture familiarity. Hands-on or working knowledge of cameras, drones, and/or laser scanning. Licensed drone pilots and scan-to-BIM experience are a plus.
- Leadership instinct. Roughly 2+ years in a supervisory or operations role, or a strong track record of stepping up and leading. You delegate well and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech comfort. At home in cloud-based software, Microsoft Office, and project tools like Salesforce—and quick to learn new platforms.
- Communication range. You can talk just as easily with a field tech as with a C-suite developer or owner.
