Overview
Join Campos School Portraits as a School Photographer! This position aligns with the local school calendar, meaning you will not be required/needed to work during Christmas break or the summer holidays. The role is Monday through Friday and involves traveling to various schools, setting up photography equipment, interacting with children and teenagers, taking photos, and ensuring a smooth photo session.
Duties
- Set up and break down photography equipment.
- Photograph students individually and in groups, ensuring high-quality images.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with students and school staff.
- Manage schedule effectively to adhere to the school’s timetable.
- Work in a lab environment for cropping, data entry, packaging, and printing photos.
- Create sublimation items as part of product offerings.
- Display excellent phone etiquette when communicating with schools and parents.
- Use computer software to review and select images for processing and data entry, with a strong attention to detail.
- Participate in training and development sessions.
- Demonstrate patience and adeptness in handling dynamic, fast-paced school environments.
Experience
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make practical decisions in a variety of situations.
- Reliable form of transportation.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in data entry and image selection.
- Experience or comfort working with children and teenagers in a school environment.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient computer skills, with experience in Photoshop preferred.
- Willingness to undergo training.
- Ability to start work early in the morning (Example 5 a.m. – 6 a.m., not every day).
- Must be able to stand for long periods and carry photography equipment.
- Phone etiquette.
